Nina Rognli 2010-01-28	Kata Lucky Villa, Kata Beach The hotel is okey. In the pictures it looks like the pool area is very big and it´s very small. The breakfast is not to recomend. It was okey to stay there for one night but I never gonna stay there again.	It was a little problem to book. We wanted a room on Sugar Palm Kata Resort & Spa but there was no room availble so we was offered a room at Sugar Palm Grand Hillside but when we paid they didn´t have any room avalible. Then we was offered a room at Kata Lucky Villa.
Ilya Semenov 2009-12-18	Kata Lucky Villa, Kata Beach I absolutely loved Kata Lucky Villa. The villas were unexpectedly large with 2 rooms (kitchen/dining room and bedroom) and a private terrace. The garden/pool were great with trees and bushes and grass and plenty of space. The pool could be larger, but they had a pool bar! The resort is a bit far from the beach and they offer free hourly tuk-tuk to/from the beach. (We didn t care as we always rent a motorbike for the whole stay.) The breakfast was very good - there is a choice of continental/american/traditional thai food, fresh fruits, etc. What ruined most of the impression that there was an ongoing construction on the adjacent plot just behind our villa where the workers started drilling at 7 AM in the morning!!! They also had the construction near the restaurant so you couldn t eat in silence either. I would definitely recommend this resort given two conditions: 1) you have a car or motorbike 2) you don t get a villa near the construction area. Besides that, Kata Lucky Villa is great!	Excellent as usual.

Nice swimming pool area and well maintained gardens. Staff are polite,courteous and efficient.	Very efficient - as always.

It does not look nice from the outside, but it is :0) We had a villa near the pool, very nice with a little tea kitchen. Big fridge. Terasse. Friendly staff, not many rooms=guests. We used laundry service, internet and had a footmassage there. If you want omelet or pancake for breakfast you have to wait a little too long for it, to be made in the kitchen. Nice poolarea. There is a little nailshop/hair salon named KAW on the street. To the right from the hotel, near the 7/11 shop. She is VERY nice. Makes beautiful nails and hair. :0)	Very easy...quick email-respond

Big rooms and a lovly garden. 10 minutes walk to beach, but they have a car which drives you there every hour. Good servic and they helps you to book travelers or taxi, just to ask them.	very good site and quick answer after questions

Kulchada Sanguannam 2009-09-15	Kata Lucky Villa, Kata Beach We stayed here for 8 nights although was low season but we got many chances to swim in hotel s lovely pool. Rooms are very clean and staff are friendly. The hotel is about 10 mins walk to Kata beach but hotel also have free transportation every hour to the beach so that is good choice on the hot day. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kata. Remember to visit Mama restaurant: Great food , Great service , reasonable price !	Very easy

Vibeke Solstar 2009-08-27	Kata Lucky Villa, Kata Beach The Hotel was more than great, very nice and helpful personel. We stayed there for 14 days, and we loved it, and will deffently be back again. Location fine, it takes about 10-15 min to walk to the beach. Kata Beach is more quiet than Patong Beach, so if you want to party every night, then is Kata Beach not the right place. But there is very nice there, and very good restaurants and shopping possibility..	No problem at all.

Would recommend this resort, room, grounds and location were all really good. The Kata beach was only a minute or so away by scooter.
Khun Sompop Khamchoo 2009-07-30	Kata Lucky Villa, Kata Beach We really got value for money here. We ordered 5 days and renewed our time for another 6 days. Good service, nice looking pool with a pool-bar, friendly staff. The room is huge. It is as they say a villa. The villa consists of 2 rooms: 1 huge bedroom with queen s bed and 1 kitchen/all-around-room where you spend your time if you are many. The rooms are in good shape. There s nothing old about them. Not to forget a large balcony you can sunbath from (if your room is faced towards to sun of course). The only thing I can pick on is the location. From the look on the map via sawadee.com it looks like that the hotel is kinda closer to the beach, but it was way outta walking-range, and it s quite nerve-racking to walk along to road, even though it was little. But they do have good motobikes you can rent, which makes the life much easier. We ll stay here again for sure.	good

It is the land of smile and this place prooved it. everybody was allways helpful and allways smiling. It is a calm atmosphere at Lucky Villa, they drive you anywhere for less money than the Tuk-Tuk s. I will give Lucky Villa at least 4 stars, I will definetley stay there next time I go to Thailand.	The booking was really easy and quick answere on reservation and payment.

There is free shuttle but it is in walking distance to center and beach. Very good price (1200THB!!)Staff very friendly and good service. Recommend this place and would love to stay here again if or when we come to Kata.	Perfect as usual.

Marika Guralnik 2009-03-31	Kata Lucky Villa, Kata Beach Villas are well planned and have good location. But it is strange that in furnitured kitchen there is no equipment even to boil a water. A lot of insects, especially in the bathroom were some kind of disturbing and the aircon was situated exactly on bed. Otherwise room was OK. Staff is not very helpful and money is charged for every movement even if it is done wrong. Breakfast is very good.
b0b 2009-03-28	Kata Lucky Villa, Kata Beach The room was very clean and spacious and the staff very cordial. Wireless internet not too expensive and available in the room, but a bit slow. Far enough away from the hustle-bustle of the main beach road, but an easy walk to the sand. The pool is a bit small, but very attractive. Cheap scooters extend your range to the larger island. Bars on the windows (all are on ground floor) made me wonder about security, but there is a safe in the room and the people on the island are quite friendly and before long I felt quite secure. E.g., I left my helmet on the scooter handlebars all day without losing it.	worked very well.

Excellent hotel and VERY nice and kindly staff, a lovely place to stay at. We have already plans to stay att the hotel when we arrived next time. We will recomend this hotel.
Yvonne Sinclair 2009-03-20	Kata Lucky Villa, Kata Beach The kat lucky is a lovley peaceful haven a very busy place the staff are very helpful but had difficuly with our scottish accent as they normally only have scandinavian guests but they tried very hard kata is a very tourist place ok if your on a package deal but for individual travellers you dont see thailand at its best however it is better than some places we have been on our travels, up from the lucky villa is a very good thai restuarant and serves really good for 30bhts and 60bht for a bit better they also do carry out meals overall i would recommend lucky villa	sawadee very good we booked the night before and they got back quickly with a confimation

Only 15 mins walk to main beach and village centre or hourly bus. This really is a great little place to stay, is very spacious and quiet compared to the 3 and 4 storey blocks of the town centre. A great find, would definitely stay again	Easy to use service, delivered all as required with no fuss.

Free shuttle to the beach and 10 minute walk back. The villa is bigger, and the pool & garden are smaller then they appear on web. Uncomfortable wooden furniture in villa. Some pillows & cussions would help. Breakfast nothing to do cartwheels over. Over all -rating: good++	No problems.

We are truly glad we did since it turned out to be a lovely place to stay at. Very nice bungalows and good environment for children. 10 minutes walk to the beach. The road is very narrow and may not be so good to walk with smaller children in baby carriage. Free ride with shuttlebus from hotel to the beach/city centre. We recomend this hotel since it s a very quiet, peaceful and relaxing place to be.	Easy to book, quick replies.

Within walking distance to restaurants and smaller markets but need a tuk tuk or taxi to the heart of Kata. Free shuttle service on the hour until 17:00 to Kata beach is excellent, staff very friendly.

Our kids, 4 and 1,5 years old, just loved the pool and the super friendly staff. Clean and spacious bungalows with a nice terrass. A beautiful garden with banana and mango trees. We were very well taken care of! An extremely relaxing place! With small kids and a stroller I would recommend to take a tuk-tuk or the free shuttle to the beach, because the street is very narrow and there is a lot of traffic. We highly recommend KLV!

Each villa is two rooms and very quiet, so there is no problem with noise, even with many children about. The pool area is very nice, the location is convenient and the staff is very helpful. The pool is not so big but it is 100% clean and it is very beutiful. The breakfast wich is included in the price are really good. Its true, breakfast ist not exiting but we were filling our fridge with exotic things from the marked and had a lot of fun with the staff allowing us to even use the kitchen. The pool in the garden is a dream. I felt very at home in the Kata Lucky villas. To the beach its a 10 min. walk along the road. Rent a motorcycle at the hotel and you will enjoy exploring the area.

Max, Chris & Teah 2008-03-07 until 2008-03-22	Kata Lucky Villa, Kata Beach We stayed here for 15 nights and loved it. Very nice quiet resort and great for families. The resort is only about 3 years old going by the gardens and young palms which have been planted. The grounds are flat with well kept lawns. There are 28 villas, paired together in 14 separate buildings, all joined by a flat winding footpath, laid out in an oval shape around the pool which is in the middle of the area. This is a great hotel for families with children from very young through to older kids as the grounds are neat and flat so you can see the kids if they want to have a walk around the footpath, and for older kids if they want to go in to the beach by themselves. The hotel is situated about a 5 minute brisk walk away from the beach or a 10 minute slow steady walk to the beach. There is only one small hill, hardly a hill more like a slight rise in the road, between the hotel and the beach, the rest of it is flat. The roads in and around this section of Kata are very narrow and there is no footpath so when walking in for meals or beach you have to walk single file and stay close to the edge of the road. Having said this, the traffic is also very aware of pedestrians. The hotel runs a free shuttle to Kata Beach every day between 7.00am and 5.00pm which we used to go in to the beach a couple of times per day. Kata Beach, Kata Noi and also Karon are probably the nicest beaches clear water, good sand and location. There is a 7 Eleven about two minutes walk away from the hotel which was convenient for buying snacks and drinks and the odd Beer Chang or three. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and polite and reception will take very good care of you. The hotel owners are there every day also which I have not seen before at other resorts and they take a very hands on approach and will help with anything you need. One last thing, the shuttle driver, breakfast area attendant and pool attendant named Or, he s the best and if anyone is going to stay there, please say hello from Max. Great place to stay and would definitely stay there again.	Good, fast & easy. Fast responses to any questions asked. Have used for two years now. No problems at all.

douglas Nixon 2008-02-01 until 2008-02-06	Kata Lucky Villa, Kata Beach Kata lucky villa has fantastic villas and an outstanding garden and pool setting that is very relaxing, including the open massage room adjacent to the pool. This is a first class 4 star setting. The location is ok , a short walk to the better end of Kata, the better shopping and great eating at a good price. However, the service at KLV is woeful, the worst we found in our 3 weeks in Thailand. The staff are generally un-communicative, the breakfast pathetic and generally more like a 1 1/2 star standard. This is almost certainly influenced by few staff that spoke english, so I maybe being unkind. If you are a family with young children this is probably a great venue to stay at, because the villas have a large bedroom and also a large separate room that could accommodate 2-3 small children with extra beds .	Sawadee was the most responsive travel site in Thailand that we used. When booking for a family of 2 Adults and 3 children this was an important factor and we would recommend Sawadee.com to our friends.

Aircondition very good. the swimming pool is also very nice and clean. The staff from the Kata Lucky Villa is friendly and helpfull. The Hotel is about 10 min. walking distance from the beach, but we had no problem to walk.We can recommend this place and will go back there.	To book via sawadee is very easy and we will use this service again. That was the fist time we did book with sawadee and we have been pleased with the service

It is also nice for children however; the walk to the beach can be dangerous so; you will probably want to ring for a taxi. The only issue I encountered was upon check out. I was told I could not pay with a credit card and I had to pay cash. This would not have been a problem if I was told ahead of time however; it was an inconvenience I was not prepared for.	Service was excellent however; I suggest you don t book airport transfers through this site. The cost was more than double booking direct with the hotel. Almost 1,600 baht compared to 800 using the hotel.

Tan Chor Pang 2007-12-05 until 2007-12-11	Kata Lucky Villa, Kata Beach It has been a very pleasant stay for my family and I at the the Kata Lucky Villa. The resort is an excellent place for a retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Nestled on a hill slope surrounded by 2 hills, it was so peaceful and serene especially because there are only 28 rooms in the resort. The room is large with a big dining/sitting hall and a spacious verandah. The toilet is also very large although without a bathtub. Our room was facing the pool and that made it even the more convenient for us to have a dip in the pool or saying hi! to other guests. The resort staff were very helpful. I needed a hot water flask and they promptly provided an electric airport! On our last night, I booked transport from the villa to the airport at 11.16 pm and the reception promptly confirmed the booking as I was walking back to my room. The van was early waiting for us at the driveway the next morning. The only hitch is the location. You have to take a 5 minutes walk on the road (sharing the lane with passing vehicles) if you want to make your way to town or the beach. That can be quite dangerous as there is no pedestrian path. Otherwise, the town and the beach is a 10 minute walk. Some may consider this far compared to the other hotels along the main strip. However, you get to know a nice and cheap eating place along the way called JJ restuarant which serves authentic Thai food at very irresistable price. You can be sure I will be back in Kata and to Kata Lucky Villa if I need a quiet retreat.	The booking service is easy. I was a little uncomfortable at having to make full payment at first. Having read comments made by other users about Sawadee.Com, I was somewhat assured that it was safe to make the full payment.In the process of booking I also, did not have any problem getting the accommodation. Although I had other places at first, Sawadee reccomended Kata Lucky as the place that I wanted was not available for the period of my booking. I also had prompt response to other email queries. Thanks for the reccommendation and the prompt service. If I am visiting Thailand, I will check out Sawadee.Com again

The pool was far smaller than we expected but once we got over that we had a very pleasant experiance. The rooms are large and right next to the pool. The place grew on us nicely..:o)	fine

The short 10 minute walk to the beach/shops was not a problem. The only negative was the exhorbitant charges levied for using the in-room telephone. I made less than 30 mins.of National calls and was charged 1400 baht.	Excellent - as always.
