Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach Ganz tolles Hotel. Tolle Lage am Long Beach. |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach Disappointment. Booked a very expensive beach front bungalow (7600 B). This is not a beach front bungalow. You have the view of the restaurant and cannot see the sea nor the ocean! The other rooms ma be worth the price but the beach front are not. High music from bar next door leaving no peace. The employees speak very bad English for a resort of this standard. The air cons make a lot of noise making it impossible to use them at night if you want to sleep. The restaurant is overpriced. The beach is very nice. The breakfast is lovely with anything you could wish for. Spa is OK. Lots of Swedish package turists. Not sure I would reco this place to othes. |
Very good. Everything worked very well. |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach We were informed the hotel was recently built and that was evident, it was modern and externally well above standard to many hotels in the area, however it did have its faults. The deluxe pool access room we stayed in showed excessive signs or wear and tear, sometimes the bedding was discoulered and pillow cases had cigarette burns. For what we paid per night in high season we expected better. The staff were fantastic as the majority of Thai people are, nothing was to much trouble. The hotel policies i thought were out of touch as I exchanged £100 cash for Bahts and were unknowingly given a better exchange rate. Two days later i get a phone call asking to pay the money back which was around £27. I was greeted by a very embarressed member of staff who served me initially and tried to explain the mistake. I was also informed by another member of staff that if i didnt pay the money back the staff member would have to pay it back herself, which i thought was ludicrous. I run a business myself and in our company a manager would just explain and ask politely for the money to be refunded if that was refused because it was our mistake we would take responsibility and not charge the customer and especially not the staff member on a first occasion. This became apparent again when a glass in our room was accidently broken and put on our final bill. The amount was miniscual but adding £1.60 when we paid £200 per night is insensitive |
Fantasic as usual. |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach Beautiful resort. Our first night we stayed in one of the Beach Bungalows looking right at the water. Older but very comfortable with a huge king bed and lovely big bathroom . The beach was lovely for walking. We did not swim but went up to our knees. Not busy at all. We were told upon arrival that the resort had booked a large group in for a retirement party so the restaurant was somewhat noisy ( not the usual case for September ). Next morning after telling them we did hear the Karaoke and laughter till quite late they upgraded us to a Deluxe Pool access room. These were away from the water but in a newer building . More modern including the in room safe . So cool to be able to swim right out your room door . The breakfast food was good. We especially liked the french toast. You can also if you prefer walk out the front of the resort and down the clay road to the Eden Bar on the left in the Charm Resort for more wine selection and great dinner food. Opens at 7pm. Lanta Sand Resorts staff were always friendly and attentive . I would recommend this resort. |
Used them before Always no problem, excellent in fact. |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach This hotel was a big dissapointment with the service. A girl working for breakfast were really unkind and not smilling at all. We almost felt uncomfortable to ask something. The situation of the hotel is good because near of Saladan town which is the only town at koh Lanta. We stayed at the deluxe access pool which was ok, but whitout swimming facilities this place is boring. I would not recommand this hotel because I think there s much better hotel to stay at. |
Exellent ! |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach Very nice resort and friendly staff. Spacious and lovely bungalows, good restaurant, nice pool area - especially when travelling with children. The beach though is better for the children at Long Beach. But no complains at all - if we have the chance we will come back. |
Quick reply and no problems at all. |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach It s a really nice resort, with a beatiful garden. The beach is one of the best wich we have ever seen. Excellent food but the breakfest-assortment is a little petty. But overall a first class location and we can recommend this resort at any time |
We have so many experinces with sawadee and every thing was allways perfect |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach Først bodde vi i bungalow, rett ved bassenget. Veldig bra.
Alt fungerte. Ikke noe å frykte |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach Great location and enjoyable hotel. Our room was very nice and the outdoor bath would have been nice to use, but it did not work properly. The room was comfortable and the grounds were very pretty. Breakfast was ok; it was the standard fair of every other resort in the region. We had one meal in the hotel restuarant and it was over priced and not great. Really good food can be had at other locations on the beach. Even though it was high season there were not that many people there and it was very quiet at night. The spa was over priced and one can pay much less at other locations. We rented a motorbike and it made exploring the island fun, though I would recommend renting in the village of Saladan because you will pay less than you would at the resort. |
100% reliable and will certainly use again. |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach Very nice, modern, rather small bungalows. Lots of shade on the beach & pool. Good for people who want to relax. The restaurant in the hotel is a bit pricy (as usual), but at the beach there are several good and cheap restaurants. All in all: highly recommended resort! We will return. |
excellent service. |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach Stayed here with my 3 years old son and we enjoyed it very much. The Hotel was even better than you can expect from pictures from website and the surroundings on the beach with great restaurants with a relaxed atmosphere and good prices maked this to a perfect stay! The rooms are nice with all the standars that you need, even DVD player wich my son liked:-). One important thing when travelling with children is that the pool area for kids is in shadow. Good pricing at the hotel and and if you want a change you take a 50 meter walk left or right and you have more choices. Recommend! |
Everything worked smoothly. Booked very late but that didn´t cause any trouble. |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach Resort was perfect. This is a great resort for a family to visit- real nice pool, lots of shade and comfortable accomodations. This is a nice and relaxing destination to visit and I would definitely recommend it. The prices during low season are especially attractive considering the return in the form of great service, tasty food and very friendly staff. |
Booking process seemed professional and all questions were very promptly and completely answered. |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach It is really a nice resort with nice swimming pool. We stayed at a beach front villa. What a stunning room! There is living area, pantry and a big bathroom. There is also an outdoor bath tub in the garden at our back yard. The staff are friendly & attentive. When we informed about lighting problem, they immediately changed the bulb and solve the problem. We would certainly recommend this resort to people. |
Good service! |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach We stayed in Lanta Sand Resort & Spa for three days . The room was good but house keeping was poor as they didn’t even replace the shampoo/Soap. Breakfast was terrible there was only bread and butter available and this is not expected from a 4 * hotel. Will opt other Hotels during our next visit. |
Booking service was excellent |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach We were picked up by the hotel transport from Krabi airport. It cost 2500BHT which was expensive, as the return journey can be booked locally for 750BHT. The resort was everything we could have wished for. The gardens were beautiful. We had our grown up son with us (we thought we would give him a taste of luxury as he had been backpacking around Australia)so booked a family room. It was huge, with a bath in the garden, the room overlooked the beach. The downside is the weather in May is very unreliable. We had storms for 3 days and because it was the low season there were only 8 people in the resort, and only 1 beach bar open. We would love to go back in the high season. |
Excellent, Sawadee even credited back our money when we moved on 3 days early to another resort. |

Lanta Sand Resort & Spa, Koh Lanta Yai, Phra Ae Beach Lanta Sand is nice and clean. The Staffs are very helpful and put on Smiles all time long. Located about 5km away from the market which is quite convenient. Must try - The seafood there is superb and at reasonable price. Highly recommend - Squid (still alive like a cameleon- skin changes colour when you touch them) with galic and pepper. Try out Koh Rok, a very beautiful beach with clear water. A nice place to snorkel with colourful fishes. |
good and efficient. |
